Mark Brammer, Executive Director

Mark's work focuses on the management of cultural resources and ways to make those resources accessible to all. He believes that museums are an integral part of the community and should be a welcome and inclusive space for everyone to enjoy.  Originally trained as an anthropologist, Mark has worked in several different museums, including the Children’s Museum in Indianapolis, The Field Museum in Chicago, and the Wyoming State Museum where he was the director. He has worked extensively in museums, including in England where he completed his MA in Museum Studies. 

Nava Streiter, Curator

Nava catalogues, manages, and interprets the museum’s collections. She has held jobs or internships at the Frick Art Reference Library, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Getty Museum, among other institutions. She has an MA from the Courtauld Institute of Art and a PhD from Bryn Mawr College, where she taught for two years. She loves all dogs.

Cessie Wafer, Gift Shop Manager

Cessie manages the Friends of Yellowstone Gateway Museum gift shop. She also takes care of memberships for the Friends. Cessie enjoys doing research for and helping orchestrate monthly Family Days at the museum. She is usually the friendly face you see at the front desk or the cheerful voice you hear when you call the museum.
